Learn How to Gain Strength and Improve Safety

A simple ground level fall can be life changing for anyone, but especially for the elderly population. A ground level fall can result in breaking a hip, a leg, dislocations, and much more. What if you could have avoided falling in the first place? That is the purpose of the MOB class, to help our elderly population avoid falling by learning different techniques and considerations on how to avoid falling, how to fall if you do, and what to do if you fall.

These classes are free of charge and an initiative to help improve the health of our community! Avoiding a fall can keep you mobile and healthy longer so you can live life to the fullest!

 Participants will learn to:

•     View falls as controllable.

•     Set goals for increasing activity.

•     Make changes to reduce fall risk at home.

•     Exercise to increase flexibility, strength and balance.
