Northwest Community Health will be hosting the National EMS Management Association's Emergency Medical Services Field Training and Evaluation Program (EMS-FTEP) September 11-15, 2017.
The EMS-FTEP Development and Management Course (September 11-12) is a two-day program for executive officers, middle managers, and training supervisors, whose agencies have committed to the EMS-FTEP program in their agencies. Focus is on the selection, training and supervision of FTO’s, program structure, periodic evaluation process and the role of supervisors, managers and executives in program development and execution.

The EMS-FTEP Basic Field Training Officer Course (September 13-15) is a three-day course for experienced paramedics, whose agencies wish them to take on the responsibility for training new paramedics in the field using the EMS-FTEP program model. The course includes teaching and coaching strategies, use of the Daily Observation Report, designing remedial training and testing scenarios, the legal issues associated with field training, and a variety of related subjects.
